Porter is William Wallace...

Porter is William Wallace...

Editor's note: Every year, the Digest team runs a special series of essays over the holidays. Normally, we run our favorite Digests from the past... or excerpts from our paid advisories. This year, we have something special in store for you...

This year, we hosted four world-class conferences around the country – in Miami Beach, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Nashville. At each event, we heard from some of the smartest and most interesting people in the world – like oil billionaire T. Boone Pickens, former congressman Dr. Ron Paul, Tesla co-founder J.B. Straubel, and even WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Hundreds of people attended each event. But most of you never got the chance to see these amazing presentations. Luckily, we had a film crew capture all of the action. And this week, we're sharing five of our favorite presentations from the year.
We're also giving you an opportunity to access every presentation from the four events online (minus Julian Assange, who asked that his presentation be only for those "in the room"). But the offer is only good for this week. If you're interested, you'll find the details below...
 It started with a crisis...
We hosted our final Stansberry Conference Series event at the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Like every previous event, Porter had a surprise in store for the audience.
He was going to rush on stage dressed as William Wallace of Braveheart fame. But first, he wanted to play a video clip from the movie showing Wallace (played by Mel Gibson) riling up his troops before battle.
Only, there was a problem... We didn't have the video queued up. And the Internet in the hall was down. I ran around backstage in my suit delivering messages between our video crew, Porter, and the sound guys.
I ran on stage after I caught my breath to tell the audience we were having some "technical difficulties." Just as I had given up, the video went live on the huge screen onstage.
After Gibson's rousing speech, Porter took the stage – with his face painted and all.
While Porter's appearance was comical, his message was anything but...
He spoke to the audience about freedom... and how Americans are losing their freedoms every day due to apathy.
Then he explained how cheap credit and the printing press have warped the monetary system, offering fantastic examples of excess in the marketplace.
Finally, Porter gave examples of the three biggest bubbles in today's market and discussed a few short-side opportunities.
I won't give away the full details. Enjoy the show...

Editor's note: If you enjoyed Porter's presentation from Nashville, we're giving you the chance to get access to every presentation from our four events this year... But you can only sign up this week.
You'll hear from T. Boone Pickens, Dr. Ron Paul, currency expert Jim Rickards, resource-investing expert Rick Rule, author James Altucher, and many others...
Again, every presentation was recorded by a top-notch film crew... So you don't need to worry about any quality issues.
Also, if you decide to sign up, we're granting you live online access to what we think will be the single-best investment event of 2015.
