Gabriel Grego’s next epic takedown on Monday at our shorting conference
Dear readers,
You may recall Gabriel Grego of Quintessential Capital Management, who's best known for his all-time epic takedown of Folli Follie at our last shorting conference on May 3. He exposed it as a fraud and the stock went to zero less than two weeks later. (You can watch the video of his presentation here and see all of his work here.)
I just met with Gabriel this morning and he walked me through the 130 slides he will be presenting from 8:30-9:00am on Monday at our shorting conference at the NY Athletic Club (it will also be livestreamed) – and I'm delighted to report that he's done it again! Based on what I saw, I believe he's uncovered yet another total fraud, whose stock will rapidly go to zero, with management likely going to prison after being convicted of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from shareholders.
Best of all, this is an actionable idea. Folli Follie traded on the Athens stock exchange, so many of the investors who attended our last conference weren't able to short it. But the company Gabriel will be taking down on Monday has a multi-billion dollar market cap and trades on the NYSE!
(Investors in Greece can relax. Apparently many, having lost $1.4 billion on Folli Follie, have refused to buy any stocks on the Athens Exchange this week, worried that Gabriel might target another company there.)
Trust me, you will not want to miss this presentation. By itself, it will be worth far more than the price of admission – plus you also get to hear 16 more of the world's top short sellers pitch their best ideas, including Carson Block, Sahm Adrangi, Ben Axler and Fraser Perring (click here to see a full list of speakers). Lastly, there will be great networking at the breaks, lunch and the cocktail reception from 5:00-7:00pm.
Yahoo Finance will be covering the entire day and will be livestreaming for free Ben Axler's presentation from 3:50-4:10pm, similar to what they do for the entire Berkshire meeting – just go to https://finance.yahoo.com to access it.
To register, go to www.kaselearning.com/short. The list price is $2,495, but we are offering a 20% discount for in-person ($1,995) and an 80% discount for the livestream (only $495) when you use discount code SAVENOW.
I hope you can join us!
Sincerely yours,
PS – Here's the full agenda for the day:
PPS – Carson Block just sent me this shirt (referencing, of course, Elon Musk's infamous tweet) – I love it!
